Aspromontano: Greek for White Mountain, this oil was named after the Aspromonte Mountain Range where our olive groves are situated. We recommend this be the first oil you try before you branch out to the other olive oils in our family’s collection.
The perfect balance of the classic, Calabrian Carolea olive and our signature cultivar, Ottobratica. It’s flavourfully fun and very versatile!

The Fazari family has been passionately producing high quality Olive Oil since 1940. The company considers itself a guardian of an ancient and masterly tradition handed down by knowledgeable oil producers of the past. Passion, solidarity, dedication, this is what characterizes the agricultural work of Olearia San Giorgio. The olive trees used to produce the oils are situated on the foot hills of the Aspromonte National Park in the town of San Giorgio Morgeto. The Fazari family have lived in this territory, rich in history, culture and resources, developing an intense relationship and a deep bond with the land that goes far beyond business.

Tasting Notes: Green apple and tomato on a herbaceous base.  bitter and spicy with a smooth almond finish.

Ideal Pairings: Soft cheese, any salad especially Caprese, potatoes, frilled meats, shellfish, pasta, pizza and popcorn.

Best of the Best

This is the best. Nothing else compares to this. I buy the tin, however the bottles work just as well. If you haven’t tried this olive oil, you haven’t tried olive oil.
